Submit Your Business Plan
Following instructions from the secretariat, submit a business plan that includes a collaboration proposal with the region.
Last year, we received applications from 168 companies, including 73 from overseas. We look forward to your applications again this year.

— Collaboration
Collaboration Plan Criteria
After entry via this form, you will be asked to submit a business plan including a collaboration proposal with the region, following instructions from the secretariat. The "Business Plan Including Collaboration Proposal" can be created in the following four ways.
A business plan that specifies one or more sponsoring companies and includes a proposal for collaboration with those companies
A business plan that specifies a particular industry sector in Makinohara City (e.g., tea farming, tea processing, fisheries, marine products, beverage manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, auto parts processing, food service, beauty services, IT-related, energy-related, other services) and includes a collaboration proposal with local businesses in that sector
A business plan that includes a proposal to utilize or collaborate with Makinohara City's tourism resources (tourist facilities, accommodations, restaurants, transportation, etc.)
A business plan that includes a proposal for Makinohara City's administrative policies

Judging Criteria
Submitted business plans will be evaluated based on the following criteria.
Affinity with regional industry/tourism and contribution to local economy/society
Business novelty (innovativeness) or competitive advantage
Market size and growth potential
Business model profitability and sustainability
Management team track record and skills
Anticipated business risks

Screening Process
Screening consists of first, second, and third rounds.
Document screening to select 20 companies advancing to the second round
Online pitch review with judges
Open online pitch followed by judges' deliberation to determine award recipients

Important Notes for Applicants
If conducting business based on research results, patents, or other intellectual property rights, you must have the legal right to use such rights and must not infringe on the rights of others.
Activity content must be publishable on this event's website and various media outlets.
Applicants must comply with the application guidelines and application procedures.
Participating corporations, individuals, team members, their relatives, and associates must not be affiliated with anti-social forces.
We cannot respond to inquiries regarding screening results.
Pass/fail notifications are scheduled to be announced around August 18, 2026. Thank you for your patience.
Application information, including personal information provided during the application process, may be shared with (1) Makinohara City, (2) CF Startup Partners, Inc., (3) collaboration partner businesses, and (4) event management personnel including judges.
