Shizuoka Venture Startup Association (SVSA)
An industry association aimed at fostering startups and venture companies in Shizuoka Prefecture and building a startup ecosystem. We aggregate the challenges faced by startups with ties to Shizuoka and work closely with private companies, financial institutions, universities, government, and support organizations to jointly solve management issues such as fundraising, talent acquisition, market development, and technology development.
We hope that entrepreneurs and startups with ties to Shizuoka will grow as role model companies of the 'Shizuoka Model' — achieving both social problem-solving and business growth by fully leveraging local resources from universities, SMEs, financial institutions, and municipalities.
